Rapid Transformational Therapy RTT with Samira Alexander

Shortcut your way to mental health with Rapid Transformational Therapy

Samira Alexander attended the first Rapid Transformational Therapy training ever offered by the method’s founder, Marisa Peer, in London back in 2015.
The former Etihad employee, who now works as an advanced RTT and clinical therapist in Dubai, built her practice slowly by maintaining a full-time job.

“After my training I returned to Dubai, continued doing my job and slowly started to see clients on the side to build up my business,” she said. “I knew that RTT was my passion, because the fastest way to help a person is through their subconscious mind and I believe that Marissa is amazing at what she does. She taught me her amazing technique so that I would be able to help many people. A year later I left my job and focused solely on building my business.”

Rapid Transformational Therapy is a therapeutic approach that combines aspects of hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT and psychotherapy to offer speed results.
RTT was developed more than 30 years by the British therapist Marisa Peer, who claims phenomenal success helping people overcome all kinds of challenges, including physical health issues, infertility, depression, anxiety, weight management, fears and phobias. She has also helped celebrities, athletes and business leaders to the top of their game.

As with any new therapy, particularly a rapid variety, there are questions and doubts about legitimacy — even as the evidence base for efficacy is building.

As of October 2021, over 1,000 cases across a wide variety of presenting issues have been entered into a case management system. The cases all use a set of validated clinical outcome measurements and are currently under review by an independent academic team. The case data will also be made available for public scrutiny as the repository grows. To further substantiate the efficacy of RTT, a number of research pilot programs in healthcare and educational settings are also underway.

How does it work?

Simply put, RTT is speed therapy that relies on special techniques to communicate with the subconscious mind and fix any blockages that may exist, simultaneously. According to Peer, RTT works under the premise that you don’t need a lifetime of sessions to change the mind, or even weekly visits.

“With the right therapist you can become free of problems like depression, anxiety, all addictions, confidence issues, weight issues, fears and phobias very quickly,” she claims.

So how does RTT differ from traditional hypnotherapy? The two are very similar in that they both induce a hypnotic state to achieve healing, but RTT incorporates multiple best-practices of various other therapeutic approaches too, to achieve faster, more effective results — even in just one session. Breakthroughs are achieved by understanding and fixing the root cause, rather than just addressing the symptoms of the presenting issue.

Who can practice Rapid Transformational Therapy?

Peer has combined her three decades of experience, research and testing into the RTT Live Online program, so that aspiring therapists can train from anywhere in the world. RTT Live Online consists of an e-learning program of over 300 hours that can be completed in as little as six months. This online training is flexible and available 24/7, so you can do it at your own pace. Alternatively, a five-day live, in-person training experience is offered  in major cities around the world including Vancouver, Los Angeles, Sydney, Amsterdam and Brisbane.

After undergoing the training, Alexander now runs her own practice in the UAE serving clients in both Dubai, Abu Dhabi and online.

“I get to work with people of all age groups who suffer from ailments such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, narcissism, trauma, mental and physical sexual abuse,” she said. “My youngest client was a five-year-old autistic child who needed to be potty trained and my oldest client was 74 years old.”

Alexander believes wholeheartedly in the effectiveness of Rapid Transformational Therapy and says that she sees substantial breakthroughs every day.

“Just last week I was working with a client who had spent US$30,000 on therapy the last three to four years, yet he was still suffering from severe anxiety, which had adverse affects on his personal and professional life. Within one session we actually identified the key reason for his anxiety and was able to clear that, so that he could actually start to reframe his mind and think differently about the situation and himself. In the second session we went even deeper and as a result he feels like a completely different person already. Additional sessions will help to ensure that he’s actually moving forward in his life. RTT is an extremely powerful technique.”

Alexander specializes in anxiety, depression, addictions, emotional eating, performance anxiety at work, marital breakdowns, stress management and childhood trauma. To better help her clients she has targeted packages including, Anxious to Awesome, Love You to Success, Redesigned to Thrive, Love You to Slim, Overcoming Narcissistic Abuse, Burnout to Blissed Out and Corporate Women Rise.
