Teible culinary workshops (Dubai)
What’s cooking? This farm-to-table restaurant is hosting a series of culinary workshops during the summer for budding chefs and eager home cooks looking to learn new skills in the kitchen. Teible is big on a no-waste and locally sourced ingredients; all ingredients are used to their full potential through use of fermentation, pickling and preserving.
Keeping things cool, executive pastry chef Sheerin Ghaffar has already held a session on gelato and sorbet, guiding participants on how to create refreshing iced treats using local and regional ingredients to see them through the summer months.

Rain Room (Sharjah)
Walk through a downpour of continuous rain without getting wet. How? Sharjah Art Foundation presents Rain Room; the first installation of its kind in the Middle East. The mechanics are pretty cool, with a responsive environment that follows visitors as they navigate the through the darkened underground space, preventing any water contact. This permanent installation in Al Majarrah uses 2,500 liters of self-cleaning recycled water, which is controlled through a system of 3D-tracked cameras.

Camping at Green Planet (Dubai)
For those missing the outdoorsy life, head to the heart of the city for a camping night, in the region’s only indoor camp experience. Get all the nature feels as you walk through this enchanted Dubai rainforest, keeping your eyes open for sightings of squirrel monkeys and a sleepy sloth. It’s an immersive experience filled with fun educational games for the little ones. Expect a BBQ dinner, movie experience, tour and a buffet breakfast. Camping at Green Planet is on every Friday and Saturday until August.

Deep Dive Dubai (Dubai)
Dare to dive into the world’s deepest pool? Deep Dive Dubai is the only facility in the world where you can dive into depths of 60m, which is 15 meters deeper and four times bigger than any other diving pool in the world.
