HAYZ, which stands for “healthy and yummy zone,” has picked up a “best healthy restaurant” nod at Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers 2018 dining awards. The category honored restaurants specializing in healthy food, vegan, salads and meal-plan options, of which there is no shortage in the food hub that is JLT.
The Dubai healthy restaurant, founded by Aymen Ghaleb, has this as one of its mottos: “We believe that we all deserve to live healthy without tasteless food or insane restrictions.”
The awards also present an opportunity to discover which restaurants are most frequented by visitors, residents and individuals that work in the vicinity. Awards were presented in 17 categories, including sweets, bars, cafes and street food to Asian, Indian and European cuisine.
HAYZ specializes in fast, healthy takeaway and delivery food. Customers can also choose from weekly four-meal plans aimed at either weight loss, Keto diet, maintaining weight and a sustainable lifestyle.
The JLT Restaurant Awards were founded by Martin Kubler and launched last year to showcase the more than 200 independent cafes, bars and restaurants in and around the JLT area.
