#recipe: Honey Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Join us in embracing a healthy diet this week with five different Weqaya-approved recipes, curtesy of Basiligo.

The third meal in our #5dayWeqayaChallenge is a snack, Honey Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. Pumpkin seeds are known to be high in protein, heart-healthy fat and magnesium which helps you sleep better. This simple snack is great for munching in between meals or as an addition to most breakfasts.


Method

  1. Pour the pumpkin seeds into a mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the salt and paprika over the pumpkin seeds. The actual amount of paprika used is according to individual taste.
  3. Drizzle the honey over the seeds and spices.
  4. Mix until the seeds are entirely coated.
  5. Enjoy!
