Beyond Meat has shot to fame with its signature ‘bleeding’ meat, and now the vegan brand is on the menu at pretty much any restaurant, grocery store and food delivery app throughout the UAE. Here’s where to find some of the company’s burgers, crumbles, and a few burritos too.
Plant Power Business Bay: Available by delivery only, this happy, healthy venue serves up salads with a side of calorie and macro breakdown. Their burger comes with cashew chipotle sauce on a whole wheat vegan bun (Dh59.06 on UberEats).
Burro Blanco: This Abu Dhabi venue serves up plenty of veggie burritos, tacos and chips, but it also has a special Beyond Meat burrito. This comes with cilantro (coriander) lime rice, black and pinto beans, an entire 1/4lb of marinated “meat”, corn salsa and more (Dh55 on Zomato). Order this beside some crispy avocado fries with a horchata (a Mexican rice drink) to wash it all down.
Bareburger: Available in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this casual burger spot has two different Beyond Meat options. The first is veggie and comes with a helping of American cheese, caramelized onion, dill pickles and lettuce served on a brioche bun (Dh44). The vegan option substitutes vegan cheese and a multigrain bun (Dh45). You can double the patty for an extra Dh16.
Nolu’s Cafe: This Abu Dhabi venue serves Afghani starters and plenty of salads, but it also offers a hefty Beyond Meat burger, too. The burger comes with American cheese, pickles, and tomatoes (Dh65). Try it with a chia seed lemonade or maca superfood smoothie.
2 Ouncez: This Dubai online-only burger restaurant serves up a Beyond Meat vegetarian cheeseburger with sliced cheddar and grilled onions in a potato bun (Dh70 on UberEats). Cold-pressed juices and toppings-packed fries are also available.
Flexi Kitchen: Available online in Dubai only, this new restaurant is all about a healthy flexitarian diet. It offers a Beyond Meat burger with baby spinach, avocado, and basil pesto on a multigrain bun (Dh42 on Deliveroo). Fish dishes and vegetarian food is also offered.
Eatpickl: Dubai’s brand new dirty burger joint has already made a reputation for having great fried chicken and buttery soft buns. Its Beyond Meat burger is equally solid, made with a topping of the company’s own sauce and a wedge of non-vegan cheese (Dh35 or make it double for Dh20 more).
Sheikh and Shack: Burgers and shakes are served at this casual spot in JLT, Dubai, which takes a classic approach to its Beyond Meat burger. Their version comes with cheese, veggies and sauce, served in a bun or a lettuce wrap. The price (Dh48) includes fries and a drink.
The Better Burger Co: This Abu Dhabi venue has six different entirely vegan Beyond Meat burger options, including chili (with sweet pickles and jalapeños) and earth (with wild mushrooms and herbed mayo). Prices range from Dh49 to Dh53. They’ve also got sweet potato fries.
Freedom Pizza: Known for its range of (as the name suggests) fairly unique pizzas, this UAE delivery company offers a pizza combo that mixes vegan cheese with chunks of Beyond Meat, then tops everything with caramelized onions and sundried tomatoes. It also does cauliflower crusts. Deliveries are available both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Coffee Club, Al Bateen: This Abu Dhabi venue has relaunched with a keto-themed menu. This includes a keto bowl, poached eggs on portobello mushrooms, and salmon grilled in tahini. If none of those tempts your tastebuds, there’s a Beyond Meat burger with cheddar cheese on a brioche bun (Dh59).
BurgerFuel: New Zealand burger chain BurgerFuel knows how to whip up a gourmet combo of meat and cheese, and now the brand has branched out into Beyond Meat burgers. Say hello to Beyond Beleaf, the burger that started as a special promo launch but was so good it was added to the permanent menu. It comes with vegan cheddar cheese and vegan aioli and is only available for dine-in (Dh45).
Wildflower Poke and More: If you’ve ever wanted the chance to order a poke bowl, a Korean fried chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, and a Beyond Burger, you’re in luck. This Dubai venue serves up a Beyond Meat burger with onions, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes, all on a pretzel bun (Dh40). Or there’s a vegan crispy tofu and kale poke bowl.
Southern Sun Abu Dhabi: After the successful launch of a vegan corner at its Friday brunch (which included vegan burritos, vegan curry, and Buddha Bowls), Southern Sun decided Beyond Burgers were there to stay. Now guests can order this vegan burger from The Foundry, Blu Sky Lounge and grill, in-room dining, or at the aforementioned bustling brunch (from Dh75 for order). The burger comes with classic toppings like vegan cheese, relish and tomatoes.
